Nature.

The opportunity to attend The Getty, a famous art museum in Los Angeles, was presented to me while attending a summer project as a staff intern in Long Beach California. While perusing the lawn I stumbled across a few opportunities to take some pictures of a few flowers that stuck out to me. You really don't understand the beauty of God until you understand the beauty of his creation. We are lucky enough to have the ability to capture some of these images. Here are just a few I managed to capture. Enjoy

Remembering Where You Come From...

I must admit that it has been quite some time since I last posted. Maybe the winter had taken it's toll, but never fear because spring is among us. Anyways, my fraternity recently ventured down to Memphis Tennesee(where I was actually born) for our annual spring formal. Being home was some what different, especially with all my fraternity brothers there seeing what I had grown up in and around. My right hand man and I decided to give a downtown walking tour of Memphis, granted neither one of us had ever really walked around downtown. After it was all said and done I felt like I had taken something for granted all the years that I had the opportunity to enjoy it. It was bitter sweet because I captured a couple of photos while finding a new appreciation for the city that God had blessed me with to enjoy.

Ben Rector

Recently Ben Rector, University of Arkansas and BYX alumni, stopped by in Fayetteville for his cd release. I was told the hardest place to capture a photo was at a concert. Due to the dim lighting, and crazy light shows on stage, it proves to be very difficult indeed. Hearing this, I decided to venture out and try it myself. I am not going to lie, it was pretty difficult. However, I did manage to capture a few good pictures of my former BYX brother at George's Majestic Lounge.

The Power of Mother Nature

Well if you are not aware, snow is considered a foreign entity in the land of Arkansas. A record snow storm passed through our state leaving frozen cars, non-drivable roads, trees bending towards the ground and about 7 inches of fresh powder. God's creation is so beautiful and we are lucky to be able to enjoy it. Here are a few images I managed to capture...

Some random photos...

These are just some interesting things I have captured in the last month. Very different looks in all of these photos. Enjoy!

The start of something new...

Well this is something I am totally new at and something I have been interested in for quite sometime. I can't get over how you can capture something with a mere click of a button and it be so beautiful. Capturing a moment in time feels somewhat like an art. It is awesome to be able to do that. Well I hope you enjoy the pictures that I have taken and the ones to come!
