Popsicle Jokes.

So recently I had friends sign up for a blog and they are actually treating it like a blog rather than a place to display their talents. I have decided to go in another direction. At least for this blog.

My friend Luke "Barrow" Hill talked me into recently persuaded me into buying Airhead Popsicles so he could have a reason to come over and eat all of them. Without paying.

We have come to find out that the jokes they put on the popsicle stick are somewhat entertaining. The fact of eating the popsicle in order to get to the joke is our soul motive. Here are some jokes that we have come across. Enjoy.

1. Why was the pound so patient?..........He was used to weighing

2. What do you call a cow with no legs?......Ground Beef

3. Why does a quarter flip higher than other coins?......Because it has an eagle on it

If you are confused...Go back and read the post with a hint of sarcasm. Then you will get it.

Ryan Burton...

My fraternity brother, Ryan Burton, recently finished working on his first full album titled The Lower Road. I haven't been able to see him perform yet due to the busy schedule of a college student and the fact he hasn't played in Fayetteville yet. However, I was given the chance to drive to Tulsa and finally watch Burton perform on Friday. I must say, he absolutely blew me away and I was really impressed by his stage presence. The hour and 45 minute drive through a tornado and some of the worst rain I have ever seen, was worth it. Check out his album on itunes if you haven't already.

Baseball...I don't get it...

Ok. I know that it is considered "America's Pastime", and I respect that. However, I have never really been able to understand the excitement of the game. I don't really understand strategy, or "plays" if you will. But, for my roommate Ryne, it is the best time of the year. While at our annual formal, which was held in the great city of St.Louis this year, we were able to enjoy an afternoon of cheering on the Cardinals to (hopefully) their first win. While seeing the number of fans that come out to watch their beloved team, I started to understand why so many people have loved it for so long. Even though the Cards lost, their fan base stood behind them and pushed on to the next game, which just so happened to be the next day. I may not get baseball, but I sure did enjoy the experience. Who knows. Maybe they made a Cardinal fan out of me...

This is Clay's Punching Bag

This is our dog Ranger, Ragnar, Young Bull, Spup, Pud. He has a different name for every day of the week. When people saying having a dog is like taking on a child, they are not lying. Ranger is the child of the Duncan house. A dog that sleeps 14 hours a day, and has 7 different guys to play with whenever he is ready, is what I would consider the luckiest dog in the world. He naps more than any animal or human being I have ever seen. He has this thing with wanting to kill a squirrel, but he isn't fast enough. We are still working on his 40 time. All in all, he is a great asset to our college family, and has changed Ryne's ocd habits forever. We all love him.

Introducing the members of the Duncan House

Man, words surely do not describe the guys that I am so honored to live with. We lean on each other in times of pain and trials, and lift each other when congratulations are due. We care about each other and would do anything for one another. We are best friends and brothers.

The men of the Duncan House in order from Left to Right, and Top to Bottom. Myself (Jessie Green), Garrett Smith with his sidekick Ranger (Ranger will have his own post soon enough), Adam "Wad" Waddell,Eric Mcdonald,Clay Helder and his friend Gus (the duck), and last but certainly not least Ryne Eubanks. And not pictured but coming soon enough is Curt Longfellow. Yes his last name is Longfellow I didn't make that up to be funny.

Time to get back into this...

I didn't realize how long I have been away from this. I actually forgot my password to it. I have taken a lot of pictures since the last ones I posted. Obviously of the course of a year I have picked up some new tricks and started to learn how to master the ways of photo editing. These shots were taken around the University of Arkansas campus with one of my best friends, who thoroughly enjoys photography as do I, named Steven Austin Ward. He started shooting around the same time I did. It is somewhat like an unspoken competition to see who gets the best pictures and then who can edit them the best. In the case of capturing the beauties of campus, I won. Woo Pig. Enjoy.

Nature.

The opportunity to attend The Getty, a famous art museum in Los Angeles, was presented to me while attending a summer project as a staff intern in Long Beach California. While perusing the lawn I stumbled across a few opportunities to take some pictures of a few flowers that stuck out to me. You really don't understand the beauty of God until you understand the beauty of his creation. We are lucky enough to have the ability to capture some of these images. Here are just a few I managed to capture. Enjoy
